Musée de la contrefaçon
Preambule
The Museum of Counterfeiting was created in 1951 by UNIFAB, a French anti-counterfeiting association. Its missions are to inform and raise awareness among the general public of the dangers and of the extent of counterfeiting.
SCOPE
Article 1
These regulations are applicable to all visitors to the Museum of Counterfeiting.
Titre I : AccESS TO THE MUSEUM
Article 2
Visitors are welcomed at number 16, rue de la Faisanderie, Paris 16th, via the intercom. Access to the museum requires climbing a 7-step staircase.
The Museum is open to visitors without reservation from Tuesday to Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is closed on Mondays, public holidays, and for a specific period each year in August and December.
Article 3
Access to the museum and the ticket office are closed to visitors at 5:00 p.m., 30 minutes before the museum closes.
TITLE II: SHOOTING AND VIDEO RECORDING
Article 4
To make editorial use of videos and photographs taken within the museum, the author must make a request to UNIFAB, and display the legal notices for each use.
Article 5
To make editorial use of videos and photographs taken within the museum, the author must make a request by email to UNIFAB at musee@unifab.com, and display the note “musée de la contrefaçon” for each use or take.
TITLE III: PROTECTION OF THE MUSEUM COLLECTIONS
Article 6
It is forbidden to lean on the windows and other displays, to move equipment and furniture, and to damage the spaces and collections of the Museum in any way.
TITLE IV: PROVISIONS RELATING TO GROUPS
Article 7
Groups of 10 people or more are admitted to the rooms only on reservation and prior written approval by Museum staff. It is possible to book a slot up to 10 days before the date of the service.

Groups are prohibited from parking in the Museum entrance corridor.
Article 10
Group visits are carried out under the guidance of a supervisor in charge of enforcing the rules of conduct relating to groups.
Article 11
In order to respect the place and its staff, a correct attitude is required from group visitors. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- Sit on the steps of the staircase leading to the Museum.
- Scream, run, disturb or in any way disrupt the peace of visitors and Museum staff.
- Eat in the Museum spaces.
Article 12
The Museum authorizes participants to leave their personal belongings on the rack located in the first room, without obstructing the door giving access to the office. Personal belongings are under the sole responsibility of their owner; the Museum disclaims any responsibility in the event of damage or theft.
TITLE V: TICKETS AND BILLING
Article 13
To access the exhibition halls, visitors must pay an entrance ticket. Reduced and exempt rates are granted upon presentation of a valid proof.
Article 14
Visitors in groups are subject to specific pricing and are invoiced in advance of the visit date. Reservations are only considered valid upon presentation of a paid invoice or a purchase order issued by a public service establishment (Chorus Pro).
Article 15
Payment, or sending of a Chorus Pro order form, must take place within 7 days after the reservation date, otherwise the reservation will be automatically canceled.
TITLE 6: CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Article 16
As specified in article 8 of the Terms of Sale, no refund will be granted on online ticketing in the event of cancellation by the buyer. For services booked with a museum guide, if the cancellation occurs less than 15 calendar days before the date of the visit, the Museum of Counterfeiting will invoice the total amount due indicated in the reservation details.
Article 17
The Museum of Counterfeiting reserves the right to cancel a reservation in the event of force majeure (ref. Article 10 of Terms of Sale). The museum then undertakes to offer the choice of reimbursement of the service or another reservation slot in agreement with the customer.
