Musée de la contrefaçon

WHEN UNIFAB CONDUCT THE CONSUMER SURVEY,

THE CONCLUSION IS CLEAR:

NEARLY 1 IN 2 FRENCH HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED COUNTERFEIT, AND SOMETIMES WITHOUT KNOWING IT.

Since 2011, UNIFAB has been cooperating with the IFOP Institute to study consumer behavior regarding counterfeiting, as well as their perception and knowledge of the phenomenon.

In more than a decade, there has been a significant improvement in awareness, particularly of the consequences of trafficking.

90% of French people and 88% of 15‐18 year olds consider that you can buy a counterfeit without realizing it. They report a certain difficulty in identifying this type of purchase and 34% have been victims of a purchase without their knowledge – and therefore after the purchase, 37% regarding the 15-18 year olds.
