They report a certain difficulty in identifying this type of purchase and 34% have been victims of a purchase without their knowledge \u2013 and therefore after the purchase, 37% regarding the 15-18 year olds.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unifab.com\/etude-la-contrefacon-percue-par-les-consommateurs-nouvelle-edition\/\">Read the study \u201ccounterfeiting perceived by consumers\u201d on the UNIFAB website (French language)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-lg-5\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"b-tinymce_txt editor\"><p>In 2023, they generally assess counterfeiting as harmful:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>80% of French people believe that counterfeiting is a threat to the safety and health of consumers,<\/li>\n<li>They also recognize that counterfeiting is a way of stealing brands (81% for the general public; 72% for 15\u201018 year olds),<\/li>\n<li>Finally, they recognize the lower quality of counterfeit products. 79% consider that buying counterfeit goods means buying a poor-quality product that will not last long.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n\r\n<section class=\"b-banner u-py5 bg-cb\" id='3d59ff4d7c2fe0570c2e62507a6256ac'> \r\n\t<div class=\"o-ctn\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"b-banner_txt editor\" data-scroll data-scroll-repeat data-scroll-class=\"u-fade-down\"><blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">THE CONSUMPTION OF FALSE PRODUCTS CONSTITUTES A REAL SOCIAL AND HEALTH THREAT BECAUSE IT INVESTS SILENTLY INTO EVERYONE\u2019S DAILY LIFE<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/section>\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"1 in 3 french have already purchased counterfeit, believing it was an original.","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":6702,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":true,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[102,1,83],"tags":[106,84,91,107,93,86,87,88],"class_list":["post-7040","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","category-non-classifiee","category-understanding-counterfeiting","tag-consommation-en","tag-contrefacon-en","tag-counterfeiting","tag-dupe-en","tag-iprights","tag-musee-de-la-contrefacon-en","tag-propriete-intellectuelle-en","tag-stopfake-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
